Oceania Regional Conservation Forum

The Oceania Regional Conservation Forum will provide a platform for members of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) in Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific to share their experiences and best practices, and to make decisions on a joint programme of action to enhance the resilience of people and nature in the region. Participants will discuss how they can contribute to global and regional efforts to halt environmental decline and promote socio-economic well-being that supports cultural and biological diversity.This meeting is held every four years as the IUCN prepares for the World Conservation Congress. The World Conservation Congress will be held in 2016 in Hawaii, US.
