The objectives of the workshop, which is organized by the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), are to support the Small-Scale Fisheries (SSF) development process by providing inputs and advice, both with regard to good policies and practices in the North Africa and Middle East region, and in respect to overall principles and contents; and to start addressing implementation issues.
