Metsä2013 will be a joint-meeting of the UN Economic Commission for Europe's (UNECE) 71st Committee on Forests and the Forest Industry and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN's (FAO) 37th European Forestry Commission. The meeting will take place during the second European Forest Week, highlighting the societal importance of forests and the achievements of the forest community. Metsä2013 will include various side events for organizations working on forest and forest products related issues.
