The aim of the Africa Core Group meeting will be to review outcomes of the second session of the International Conference on Chemicals Management, identify priorities for follow-up in the African region, agree on a work plan for the Core Group in the intersessional period and prepare for a full Africa regional meeting on SAICM, which is expected to take place in early 2010.
