The Persistent Organic Pollutants Review Committee (POPRC) is a subsidiary body of the Stockholm Convention that is mandated to assess any proposal by a party for a chemical to be listed as a POP in the Stockholm Convention. The Latin American meeting will hear presentations on the work of the Stockholm Convention and on the participation of Convention parties in the review process. The meeting will be held after the Latin American meeting on SAICM.
