Despite cultural, social and economic differences within and between countries and regions, threats to tropical marine ecosystems and challenges are common around the world. This symposium aims to provide an opportunity to exchange lessons learned, good practices, and effective local solutions amongst peers and to develop communication networks within the tropical ecosystem management community.
