This symposium provides an international forum for a comprehensive review of the recent advances in the field of isotope hydrology. The topics to be discussed include: moisture isotopes in the biosphere and atmosphere; rivers and surface water; development of deep groundwater resources; isotope hydrology and ecosystems; urbanization and water resources management; water management in dry land agriculture and irrigation systems; integration with economic, social and cultural aspects; and research frontiers and innovative applications.
