This seminar, organized by the UN Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), will bring together 60 climate change, education and curricula development experts to examine how climate change issues can be integrated into educational programmes and school curricula. Other objectives include mobilizing support for relevant teacher training, enhancing the exchange of good practices on climate change education and finding ways to better use existing networks such as the UNESCO Associated Schools Networks and World Heritage sites to promote local field-based education.
