As part of its ongoing 10th anniversary celebrations, the Mekong River Commission is holding a two-day international forum on Integrated Water Resources Management in the Mekong River Basin. Participants will address how: sufficient cooperation can be obtained to yield sustainable water resources development; IWRM can be articulated to function at the Mekong Basin level and across the boundaries of its member states; sustainable water resources development can best be achieved without compromising the environmental integrity on which it is based; and IWRM can be successfully implemented to yield clear sustainable development outcomes.
