Convened jointly by the European Parliament and the European Commission, the high-level conference will feature panel discussions on: shaping global ocean governance for the future; achieving healthy, clean seas and oceans; and a sustainable blue economy, reducing pressures on the oceans.

The event will include an exhibition of EU-funded projects, including ARCHEOSUb, BRIDGES, CM Prevention of Cosmetic-induced Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and Micro Plastics Entering Food Chains, COPERNICUS, COPERNICUS Marine Environment Monitoring Service, FARNET and MARINA and ResponSEAble – Putting People at the Centre of Ocean Governance.
