BBNJ IGC-4 is the Fourth Session of the Intergovernmental Conference (IGC) on an international legally binding instrument under the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) on the conservation and sustainable use of marine biological diversity of areas beyond national jurisdiction (BBNJ).
BBNJ IGC-4 is expected to take place in March 2022, after being postponed from 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
