Organized by the International Water History Association (IWHA), this conference will address various topics related to water and history, seek to help advance the theoretical and methodological quality of water history as a research field, and increase understanding of the role of water in history and development. The conference’s themes include water control, water and climate, water and conflict, water and health, and a comparative perspective of river basins.
