The Polychlorinated Biphenyls (PCBs) Elimination Network (PEN) was established by the fourth Meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 4) to the Stockholm Convention, in May 2009, to foster information exchange and networking among entities involved in the Environmentally Sound Management of PCBs. This meeting aims to develop workplans and activities, establish thematic groups, budget approval and development of the awards programme of the PEN.
