This meeting will discuss issues related to the roles of regional centres in the provision of technical assistance, achieving synergies with related conventions, analysis of the National Implementation Plans, effectiveness evaluation, national reporting and other convention issues that require a regional approach for implementation. The meeting will also start the discussions on the possible role of regional centres in the implementation of the clearing house mechanism for information exchange on POPs.
