The first-ever G20 Civil Summit will convene from 13-14 June, in Moscow, Russian Federation, and is the final event of the G20 Presidency's Civil Society Outreach Initiative. Representatives of civil society, international organizations, the private sector, and governments are expected to attend the Summit, which has the aim of ensuring dialogue and interaction among these stakeholders, and submitting policy recommendations to the leaders at the G20 Summit. The G20 Civil Summit aims to ensure the transparency, review and evaluation processes of the G20, as well as to monitor its outcomes and commitments. It is supported by the UN Development Programme (UNDP), WWF, Greenpeace and Oxfam, among others.
