The United Nations Forum on Forests (UNFF) is convening this workshop as part of the preparations for its eleventh meeting (UNFF11), during which a high-level segment will be held to discuss the effectiveness of the International Arrangement on Forests (IAF). In particular, the workshop will provide information on the main components and elements of the IAF, as well as the planned inter-sessional activities of the UNFF with regard to soliciting views, conducting an assessment, and convening expert group meetings to review the IAF.
