This meeting, convened by the UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP) will review the activities undertaken under the project entitled Supporting Millennium Development Goals (MDG)-based development strategies through integrated regional action to promote policy options and good practices in integrating MDGs in national development strategies, plans and programmes. It will evaluate the activities in light of the challenges faced by least-developed countries (LDCs), land-locked developed countries (LLDCs), and Small Island Developing States (SIDS), and formulate recommendations for future activities.
