The 11th Europe International Network of Basin Organizations (INBO), ‘Europe-INBO 2013,' will focus on the implementation of the European Water Framework Directive. Participants will present their 2010-2015 management plans and discuss the preparation of their 2016-2021 management plans, including adapting to climate change, integrating water quality issues and ensuring coherence with other EU directives and agriculture, energy/hydropower and navigation sector policies. Roundtables will also convene on, inter alia: economic and financial concerns, including valuing ecological services; river restoration, ecological flows and agricultural impacts on water; water governance in transboundary basins; and implementation of the Water Framework Directive. A monitoring workshop will take place on 13 November.
