The United Nations Institute of Training and Research (UNITAR) will be offering, free of charge, through its e-learning platform, a Basic Course on International Environmental Law, introducing its fundamental principles, law making process, implementation and compliance procedures and negotiations of environmental agreements. Its completion will enable participants to achieve a basic knowledge of environmental agreements, raising their awareness on techniques and procedures to further improve compliance and enforcement of environmental obligations at the national level.
