This event is being organized during the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20), on the theme “Lessons in Sustainable Landscapes and Livelihoods,” and aims to ensure that the vision for a sustainable green economy includes clear steps for building a sustainable food system. It will include 10 participatory “learning events” which will provide an opportunity for participants to explore case studies of success that can be scaled up to achieve a transformation of the global food system. It is hosted, sponsored and organized by more than 15 organizations, including CGIAR, FAO, IFAD, World Bank and WFP.
