The Eighth G-STIC Conference will focus on the theme, ‘Accelerating Technological Solutions for the SDGs’. The event aims to build bridges between policymaking and technological innovation to harmonize technological, policy, and business solutions in response to global climate challenges, development needs, and regional conflicts and to accelerate SDG achievement.

The Conference will bring together innovators, entrepreneurs, researchers, policymakers, and industry leaders from around the world. G-STIC’s core focus areas are climate, education, energy, food, health, oceans, space, water, circular economy, information and communications technology (ICT), youth, and gender.

G-STIC will co-host the event with the Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (CSIR) and engage additional organizations as co-hosts and strategic and lead partners. G-STIC partners include UN Women, the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), the UN Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), UNFCCC’s Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN), Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST), All India Institute of Medical Sciences, the European Commission, and TERI.
