30th Session of the Intergovernmental Committee of Experts (ICE) of Central Africa

The UN Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA) and the Government of Chad are organizing the 30th Session of the Intergovernmental Committee of Experts (ICE) of Central Africa, under the theme ‘Industrialization and the retooling of firms for a transition towards a green economy in Central Africa'. Participants will review Central Africa's development with the aim of harmonizing socioeconomic policies and strengthening government and institutional capacities. The UN Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) will organize a session on progress made by enterprises for a transition to a green economy and progress on sub-regional industrialization, with the aim of leveraging the green economy to support the region's transformation. The ICE is the policy organ of UNECA's sub-regional offices.
