The Second Session of the Committee of Experts on Global Geospatial Information Management (UNCE-GGIM) will take place at UN Headquarters in New York, US, from 13-15 August 2012. The agenda for the 2nd Session of the UNCE-GGIM includes, inter alia: strategic considerations of future trends in geospatial information management; implications of the outcomes of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20); development of a knowledge base for geospatial information; and developing a Global Map for Sustainable Development.
