The annual meeting of the World Energy Council (WEC) will be hosted in 2014 by the Colombian Member Committee (COCME) of the WEC. Focusing on the delivery of sustainable energy systems on different levels, the event will provide an opportunity for the WEC community and energy sector representatives to engage in a series of open and private discussions. The meeting will comprise a series of related events, including: the World Energy Leaders', the Future Energy Leaders' and Energy Trilemma Summits, held on 22 and 23 October; the Latin America Ministerial Meeting, on 24 October; and the WEC's major governance meetings, culminating in the full WEC Executive Assembly Plenary, on 20-22 October, which will set the strategic direction for the organization.
