The principle objective of this conference is to bring together diverse groups of people and organizations dealing with lakes so as to provide a forum for the exchange of knowledge and experiences on the management of lakes in general, and African lakes in particular. The conference will review progress on ongoing lake basin initiatives and set future goals for lake basin management.
