World Environment Day 2018
India will serve as the global host of the 2018 World Environment Day, which will convene under the theme, 'Beat Plastic Pollution'. The Day will raise awareness and urge governments, industry, communities, and individuals to come together and explore sustainable alternatives and urgently reduce the production and use of single-use plastic that pollutes oceans, damages marine life and threatens human health.
