Participants engaged in a technical examination of parties’ submissions from 5-23 March and 9-13 April. The Plenary of the session convened from 26 March to 5 April 2007. The Chairman of the Commission’s statement, which summarizes the proceedings, will be submitted to the seventeenth Meeting of States Parties to the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea, scheduled to take place at UN headquarters on 14 June and from 18-22 June 2007 (IISD Sources).
