The third Water Expert Group Meeting is an invitation-only event that will be supported by the European Commission, under the co-chairmanship of France, Egypt and Spain. Participants will focus on the elaboration of a new Strategy for Water in the Mediterranean based on the proposal of the Technical Drafting Group. This strategy is aimed to be adopted at the next Ministerial Conference on Water, scheduled to take place from 12-14 April 2010, in Barcelona, Spain.
