This Symposium on the Post-2015 Development Agenda will discuss integrated goals for achieving sustainable development. The Symposium will be in Japanese, with no translations provided. The half-day event is jointly organized by the Tokyo Institute of Technology's S-11 project (supported by the Ministry of Environment, Japan); the United Nations University Institute of Advanced Studies (UNU-IAS); Beyond MDGs Japan; the University of Tokyo's Graduate School of Education; Tohoku University's Graduate School of Environmental Studies; and the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES). Participants will hear a keynote address on Japan's vision for the post-2015 development agenda. Parallel sessions will take place on: the energy, water and food nexus; public health and urbanization; and education and the sustainable development goals (SDGs).
