Organized by the Finnish Forest Association, this cross-sectoral forum will bring together key actors from different sectors in Europe. It will address the following questions: How can the sustainable use of renewables contribute to competitiveness, sustainability and well-being in Europe? What is the potential for renewables in different sectors (e.g. energy, environment, construction, rural development)? What challenges exist in promoting the sustainable use of renewables and how can they be overcome? And, what is the role of forests and wood in the context of renewables in Europe?
