This event is being organized by the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), in cooperation with UK sustainability consultancy AEA and the Climate and Development Knowledge Network (CDKN) Advocacy Fund. It is targeted at representatives/delegates from UN Member States, particularly those from poor and climate vulnerable countries. It aims to provide them with the information, skills and techniques they need to participate effectively in the 18th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UNFCCC (COP 18), which is taking place in November-December 2012, as well as in UNFCCC negotiation sessions thereafter.
