The UN Economic and Social Commission for Asia Pacific (UNESCAP) will organize the third International Forum on Energy for Sustainable Development jointly with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic, the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the UN Development Programme (UNDP). This event will include thematic workshops on policies and legislation to promote energy efficiency and clean energy technologies in Central Asia; energy efficiency in buildings; foreign direct investments (FDI) in advanced fossil fuel technologies; case studies on energy efficiency financing; and promotion of advanced energy efficiency technologies.
