The UN Environment Programme Finance Initiative (UNEP FI) will launch the Principles for Sustainable Insurance on the eve of the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (UNCSD, or Rio+20). The launch, co-hosted by the International Insurance Society and the Brazilian Insurance Confederation, marks the start of the UNEP FI Principles for Sustainable Insurance Initiative (the PSI Initiative) to promote the adoption and implementation of the Principles globally.
