The World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research have launched a website for the World Congress on Agroforestry that relays information on the meeting as well as related publications and opinion pieces.
January 2014: The World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) and the Indian Council of Agricultural Research have launched a website for the World Congress on Agroforestry that relays information on the meeting as well as related publications and opinion pieces.
In addition to information for participants and the media, the website blog highlights information related to agroforestry issues to be addressed at the congress such as research on gender and agroforestry in India, the role of agroforestry in improving food and nutrition security in Africa, and the need for improved private sector engagement in REDD+.
During the congress, to be held from 10-14 February 2014, in Delhi India, the website will stream live sessions and continue with blog updates. The website also contains abstracts for all of the presentations to be delivered during the congress. ICRAF is a member of the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR).
