World Bank Supports Distance Learning Course on Climate Change Science and Policy

The World Bank, through its Global Development Learning Network, is supporting the organization of a distance learning course on “Science and Policy of Climate Change” built around four modules: the science of climate change; impacts of climate change; coping with climate change (including adaptation); and action and political economy.

March 2011: The World Bank through its Global Development Learning Network is supporting the organization of a distance learning course on “Science and Policy of Climate Change” from 8 April-8 June 2011.

The course, developed by the Energy and Resources Institute (TERI), the Institute for Global Environmental Strategies (IGES), and the Tokyo Development Learning Center (TDLC), follows an interdisciplinary approach and is enriched by audio, video, and interactive web-based content. The course is built around four modules: the science of climate change; impacts of climate change; coping with climate change (including adaptation); and action and political economy.
