February 2011: The Sustainable Development of Tourism Programme of the UN World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) has released the February 2011 edition of the Sustainable Development of Tourism Newsletter.

The newsletter, which focuses on information, events and activities related to sustainable tourism, includes articles on: green economy and tourism; tourism in the International Year of Biodiversity; tourism and the climate change agenda; UNWTO Sustainable Tourism Observatories; the Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria and Council; the Global Partnership for Sustainable Tourism; and the Tour Operators’ Initiative for Sustainable Tourism Development.
