The workshop addressed the risks and benefits of nanomaterials including the potential human health and environmental risks from the production and use of manufactured nanomaterials and their applications, as well as current Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development and global activities addressing the risks and benefits of manufactured nanomaterials.
