Serving as preparatory meeting for the AMCDRR, the 2nd ISDR Asia Partnership (IAP) Meeting on Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) took place from 17-19 November 2015, in New Delhi, India. The event focused on measures to support the implementation of the Sendai Framework at the regional, national and local levels. Delegates discussed, among other issues: indicators and monitoring for implementation; targets and indicators for the national level; inputs from stakeholders; implementation in different sectors, including health, education, and science and technology; the role of cities; and priorities for implementation at the local level.
