UNFF Launches Short Film Contest

The UN Forum on Forests (UNFF) has launched a short film festival, in which participants all over the world are invited to upload films of 90 seconds or less expressing their personal relationship with forests.

Finalists' films will be premiered at the Forum's meeting in April 2013, in Istanbul, Turkey.

22 June 2012: The UN Forum on Forests (UNFF), with the Jackson Hole Wildlife Film Festival, has launched a short film contest titled “Forests for People.” It invites everyone to participate by creating a personal, 90-second film about their relationship to the forest, including how it “contributes to your life, or even makes it possible.”

Finalists’ films will be premiered at the Forum’s meeting in April 2013, in Istanbul, Turkey. Films are submitted via YouTube. The contest ends on 15 December 2012. [UNFF Press Release]
