3 April 2009: The UNFCCC Secretariat has a released a notification (FCCC/KP/AWG/2009/CRP.3) relating to the amendment to the Kyoto Protocol including its Annex B, proposed by South Africa, which was adopted during the fifth meeting of the Parties to the Protocol.

The amendments relate to the Annex I emission reductions during subsequent commitment periods and also to the assigned amount for each party included in Annex I during subsequent commitment periods. [The document]
