UNFCCC Releases Submissions on Response to Invitation to Support to National Adaptation Plans

The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the submissions from FAO, UNDP and UNEP, and the World Bank, containing information on how organizations and agencies have responded to the invitation to support the national adaptation plan process in the least developed countries (LDCs).

12 April 2012: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the submissions from UN organizations and specialized agencies (FCCC/SBI/2012/MISC.1) containing information on how organizations and agencies have responded to the invitation to support the national adaptation plan process in the least developed countries (LDCs) and consider establishing support programmes.

The submissions are from: the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO); the UN Development Programme (UNDP) and the UN Environment Programme (UNEP); and the World Bank.

The submissions will be considered by the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI) at its 36th session, scheduled to take place in Bonn, Germany, from 14–25 May 2012. [Submissions from FAO, UNDP, UNEP, and the World Bank]
