The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the submissions from six Parties, two UN organizations, and various NGOs, containing their views on the review of the implementation of the amended New Delhi work programme and on possible elements of a successor work programme on Article 6 of the Convention (education, training and public awareness).
The submissions will be considered by the 36th session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI).
30 March 2012: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the submissions from Parties and relevant organizations containing their views on the review of the implementation of the amended New Delhi work programme and on possible elements of a successor work programme on Article 6 of the Convention (education, training and public awareness) (FCCC/SBI/2012/MISC.4).
The Secretariat has received submissions from the following six Parties: Denmark and the European Commission, on behalf of the EU; the Dominican Republic; Indonesia; Pakistan; the Russian Federation; and Ukraine. The Secretariat has also received two submissions from UN organizations, namely: from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) and the Youth and UN Global Alliance; and from the UN Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR) on behalf of UN CC:Learn partners.
The Secretariat has also posted submissions from five NGOs and one NGO constituency on its website.
