4 October 2010: The UNFCCC Secretary has released a document containing five submissions from parties outlining their views on ways to enhance the engagement of observer organizations (FCCC/SBI/2010/MISC.8).
The submissions were received from: Belgium and the European Commission on behalf of the EU and its member States; Bolivia ; Mexico on ways to enhance the engagement of observer organizations, and on ways to enhance the participation of legislators; and the US. In addition, submissions received from accredited intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) and nongovernmental organizations (NGOs) on this issue have been posted on the UNFCCC website.
