UNFCCC Releases Israel’s Submission on NAMAs

The UNFCCC Secretariat has released Israel's submission, which includes: a description of national circumstances and its national plan for the reduction of greenghouse gas (GHG) emissions; elements for tracking implementation; a subsidy programme and monitoring, review and verification (MRV); and future plans.

24 August 2012: The UNFCCC released an addendum to a submission of more information by developing countries, relating to nationally appropriate mitigation actions (NAMAs), including underlying assumptions and methodologies, sectors and gases covered, global warming potential values used, support needs for NAMA implementation and estimated mitigation outcomes (FCCC/AWGLCA/2012/MISC.2/Add.1).
