UNFCCC Releases Developing Countries’ Submissions on NAMAs

The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the submissions from the Group of African States, Egypt, Malawi, and Swaziland, providing more information by developing country Parties, subject to availability, relating to nationally appropriate mitigation actions (NAMAs), including underlying assumptions and methodologies, sectors and gases covered, global warming potential values used, support needs for implementation of NAMAs and estimated mitigation outcomes.

24 April 2012: The UNFCCC Secretariat has released the submissions from three Parties and one group of Parties providing more information by developing country Parties, subject to availability, relating to nationally appropriate mitigation actions (NAMAs), including underlying assumptions and methodologies, sectors and gases covered, global warming potential values used, support needs for implementation of NAMAs and estimated mitigation outcomes (FCCC/AWGLCA/2012/MISC.2)

The submissions are from: the Group of African States; Egypt; Malawi; and Swaziland. The submissions will be considered by the Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention at its 15th session, scheduled to take place in Bonn, Germany, from 15-24 May 2012.
