18 May 201: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a notification (CAS/AGEN/SBI/PART/MAY/11) concerning the 34th session of the Subsidiary Body for Implementation (SBI 34), containing the agenda for the meeting and information on the mandated in-session workshops and events to be held during the session.
SBI 34 will be held in Bonn, Germany, from 6-16 June 2011. The notification indicates that the SBI Workshop on developing ways to enhance engagement of observer organizations will take place on 8 June 2011. The Ad Hoc Working Group on Long-term Cooperative Action under the Convention (AWG-LCA) workshop on assumptions and conditions related to the attainment of quantified economy-wide emission reduction targets by developed country parties, as requested by decision 1/CP.16, paragraph 38, will be held on 9 June 2011. The AWG-LCA workshop on nationally appropriate mitigation actions (NAMAs) submitted by developing country parties, underlying assumptions, and any support needed for implementation of these actions, as requested by decision 1/CP.16, paragraph 51, will take place on 10 June 2011.
