UNFCCC Publishes Parties’ Views on JI Guidelines Revision

The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a miscellaneous document containing the submissions of parties and admitted observer organizations and one intergovernmental organization on the revision of the Joint Implementation (JI) guidelines (FCCC/SBI/2013/MISC.3).

UNFCCC2 April 2013: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a miscellaneous document containing the submissions of parties and admitted observer organizations and one intergovernmental organization on the revision of the Joint Implementation (JI) guidelines (FCCC/SBI/2013/MISC.3).

The submissions were made in response to the invitation by the 8th session of the Conference of the Parties serving as the meeting of the Parties to the Kyoto Protocol (COP/MOP 8) to submit to the UNFCCC Secretariat, by 18 February 2013, further views on how the JI guidelines and other COP/MOP’s decisions on the joint implementation should be revised.

The Secretariat has received submissions from: Belarus, Ireland and the EU, Switzerland, Ukraine, the World Bank; and three submissions from non-governmental organizations (NGOs), which are available on the UNFCCC website. [Publication: Views on the revision of the joint implementation guidelines]
