UNFCCC Publishes Parties’ Views on the Research Dialogue

The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a joint submission made by a number of countries presenting their view on the research dialogue, including ongoing activities, associated modalities and ways to enhance it.

It will be considered by the SBSTA at its 35th session.

UNFCCC6 October 2011: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published an addendum containing a joint submission on views on the research dialogue, including ongoing activities, associated modalities and ways to enhance it (FCCC/SBSTA/2011/MISC.8/Add.1).

At its 34th session, the Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA) invited parties to provide their views on the research dialogue, including ongoing activities, associated modalities and ways to enhance the dialogue. Five submissions have previously been received and published by the Secretariat (FCCC/SBSTA/2011/MISC.8). This additional joint submission was submitted by: Belize, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Costa Rica, Cote d’Ivoire, the Democratic Republic of Congo, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Gabon, Ghana, Guatemala, Guyana, Honduras, Kenya, Panama, Papua New Guinea, the Republic of Congo, Solomon Islands, Togo and Uganda.
