UNFCCC7 September 2011: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published the report (FCCC/ARR.2010/LTU) of the individual review of the annual submission of Lithuania.

The Expert Review Team (ERT) concludes that the inventory submission has been prepared and reported generally in accordance with the UNFCCC reporting guidelines. The inventory covers most source and sink categories, and is complete in terms of gases and geographical coverage. The completeness of the inventory has been improved compared with previous years’ inventories. however, the ERT noted that there are some categories not reported or reported in an inappropriate way.

During the review week, the ERT identified these issues as potential problems. The ERT strongly recommends that Lithuania include estimates of these emissions or explanation on categories reported as not occurring “NO” in its next annual submission.
