UNFCCC Publishes Information on Contributions

28 May 2010: The UNFCCC Secretariat has published a document (FCCC/SBI/2010/INF.5) containing tabulated information on the status of receipt of contributions to the UNFCCC trust funds as of 15 May 2010.
Table 1 lists all 194 parties to the Convention and shows the expected and received contributions during 2010, and the outstanding balances in Euros due to the Trust Fund for the Core Budget of the UNFCCC. Table 2 reflects the outstanding contributions in US$ for prior years. Table 3 groups parties according to their status of contributions paid to the core budget for the Convention.
Table 4, which lists all 190 parties to the Kyoto Protocol, shows the expected and received contributions during 2010 and the outstanding balances for 2010 in Euros. Table 5 shows the outstanding amounts for the years 2005–2009 in US$. Table 6 lists parties in seven groups according to their status of contributions paid to the core budget for the Kyoto Protocol.
The status of payment of fees for the international transaction log is shown in table 7. Table 8 reflects voluntary contributions received in 2010 to the Trust Fund for Supplementary Activities, including fees related to joint implementation, which amount to US$3.7 million and US$86,000, respectively. Table 9 shows voluntary contributions to the Trust Fund for Participation in the UNFCCC process, amounting to US$1.3 million.
